3. Local Data Storage (Your Clinical Data)

The App contains features (such as the "Jobs Checklist" or "Notes") that allow you to input text.

Device-Only Storage: Any clinical data or notes you enter into the App are stored locally on your device's internal memory (using on-device encrypted storage technologies).

No Transmission: This specific user-generated content is never transmitted to our servers or any third-party servers.

User Control: You retain full control over this data. You can delete it at any time by clearing the content within the App or by uninstalling the App from your device.

4. Subscription Services and Data Processing

To manage subscriptions, process payments, and ensure you receive the premium features you have purchased, we use a third-party service provider. This is the only area of the app where data transmission occurs.

4.1. Service Provider: Adapty We utilize Adapty.io ("Adapty") as our backend infrastructure for in-app purchases and subscription management. Adapty acts as a Data Processor on our behalf.

4.2. Data We Collect via Adapty When you purchase a subscription or use the free trial, the following technical data is automatically collected to validate your receipt:

Purchase History: Transaction IDs, purchase time, subscription expiration date, and payment status (e.g., "Active," "Expired").

Device Identifiers: An anonymous App Instance ID (Vendor ID) and technical device attributes (e.g., OS version, device model, region).

4.3. What We DO NOT Collect To protect your privacy:

No Personal Identities: We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or physical address.

No Financial Details: We never see or store your credit card number, CVC, or bank details. All financial transactions are handled directly by Google Play (Google Payments) on your device.

4.4. Legal Basis for Processing (UK GDPR) We process this limited data under Contractual Necessity (to deliver the paid content you unlocked) and Legitimate Interests (to analyze anonymous subscription trends).

4.5. Data Security & Deletion

Encryption: All subscription data is encrypted in transit using industry-standard HTTPS/TLS.

Deletion: You may request the deletion of your purchase history data by contacting us at the email below with your App Instance ID.

5. App Permissions

The App is designed to function with minimal permissions.

No Camera/Microphone: We do not request access to your camera or microphone.

No Contacts: We do not request access to your contact list.

Notifications: We may request permission to send local notifications (e.g., for reminders set within the app), which do not rely on external servers.

6. Third-Party Services

Except for Adapty (mentioned in Section 4) and the standard app store environments, the App does not integrate with third-party advertising networks or social media platforms.

Note for iOS/Android Users: The Apple App Store or Google Play Store may collect their own anonymous usage statistics (e.g., crash reports or download numbers) governed by their respective privacy policies, which are independent of Myelin Labs LTD.
